Stone Harbor Budget

The Stone Harbor ROA membership, as well as most citizens, are very aware of the economic hardship that is affecting individuals, businesses, schools and universities, companies, and federal, state, and local governments. Most of these entities are cutting expenses in order to ensure fiscal integrity and responsibility.

BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING NOTES - March 10, 2010

PELIMINARIES: Call to Order, Pledge to the Flag, Roll Call and Minutes

REPORTS:

BOARD SECRETARY/BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR REPORT- This incorporated Budget Summary Report, Revenue Summary Report, Transfer Status report, Transfers, Board Secretary Report, Custodian of School Funds Report and Warrants. APPROVED.

SCHOOL BUDGET

Roll call vote to approve the 2010-2011 School Budget for submission to County Office. APPROVED
Increase of $.001836
There will be a public hearing on the budget and then a public vote
Currently, enrollment for next year is 57 students, 22 will be tuition

RESOLUTION- Capital Projects surplus from Stone Harbor Elementary School $16,877.00 to be transferred to current fund. APPROVED

CHIEF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATOR’S REPORT- request for school trips, travel policy-new regulations, buildings and grounds, Honor Roll, Concrete problem and evaluations- APPROVED

OLD BUSINESS- None
