General Membership meetings, open to all members, are held in June and September. The June meeting is typically held in the Stone Harbor School building at the corner of 93rd Street and Third Avenue on the second Saturday in June. The September meeting is often held in the Borough Council chamber in conjunction with the council meeting. Generally, it will be either on the second or third Saturday of the month. The ROA Board of Trustees is comprised of nineteen interested property owners, who are elected to serve one three-year term. They manage the daily operations and activities of the Association for the membership. They are a mix of full-time and part-time residents. All trustees serve on at least two committees and report their activities and accomplishments at the monthly trustee meeting. (See Committees & Projects drop down.) At least one trustee attends each meeting of the Borough Council, Planning Board, Zoning Board, and School Board. Their notes from these minutes are published on our website and blasted by email to our membership. The trustee meetings are held on the second Saturday of the month in the meeting room of the Stone Harbor firehouse.
