Sedge Island Update

Sedge Island is the island in the Bay near 110th street.  There has been a need to control the phragmites through spraying and cutting over the past few years.  Last year the cost of controlling the frag-mites was borne by private funds.  For 2012, it is the ROA's understanding that the Borough has included in its budget an amount to control the frag-mites this year.
