President's Message & ROA Purpose
I am honored to serve as President of the Stone Harbor Realty Owners Association (ROA), supported by 18 very talented and hardworking Trustees. We represent close to 1,000 members, with the goal to inform and advise our members on pertinent issues regarding this great town we live in. Equally important, we serve as the “voice” of our ROA membership back to the Borough Council and other appropriate governing bodies, sharing opinions and thoughts as to how our town achieves its goals.
The ROA is proud to celebrate our 60th Anniversary this year…60 years of serving property owners with the core mission of advocacy. As residents ourselves, both full- and part-time, we fully recognize the uniqueness of what our town has to offer our families and friends. The Trustees are dedicated to making constant improvements in Stone Harbor. We focus on beach and bay, beautification, civic improvements, and overall communications to our members. We also are involved in Cape May County organizations, which directly affect Stone Harbor.
Additionally, we strongly support all of the various civic organizations and associations in town, which provide unique value with their own particular missions, goals and objectives. We see collaboration at many levels, allowing us to better serve the property owners.
As a member of the ROA, you have year-round access to our great website, updated with interesting postings on a regular basis. You also are afforded the opportunity to have your voice heard collectively on various issues in town by participating in our online polling tool. On a personal note, I would like to thank the Executive Committee and the Board of Trustees at large for their contributions of time, commitment and dedication. The purpose of the Realty Owners Association of Stone Harbor, New Jersey (ROA) shall be to inform the membership of matters of importance to them as property owners in Stone Harbor, to advise and consult with the Borough officials about matters of concern to the membership and in any and all other ways possible to promote and advocate for the development, improvement and the general welfare of the Borough of Stone Harbor and its environs.
